Back in March, our team assisted Telstra’s Cable Technicians in Murtoa with fault-finding works on underground infrastructure over a three-day period, including coordinating corridor access and approvals across both the ARTC and V/Line networks to ensure the works could be completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with each networks requirements.

The project involved excavation works, carefully breaking up surrounding ground material to relieve pressure points on the cable, followed by controlled backfilling of the trench to ensure the integrity of the site.

Successful completion of these works enabled the urgent remediation of Telstra’s optic fibre network, helping restore critical infrastructure safely and efficiently.

A great effort from our team on site, with Richie Maguire acting as TFPC and Mark Miitel performing the role of Work Group Supervisor.
