Let’s talk about… Port of Melbourne

We are currently supporting Southern Shorthaul Railroad Pty Ltd.’s Port Rail Shuttle service within the Ports, operating in a live and dynamic rail environment.

Our role focuses on managing rail access movements in and out of Swanson Dock, maintaining constant coordination with ARTC‘s Network Controllers in Mile End as well as Rail Traffic Crews to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Working in a constrained operational environment requires a proactive and structured approach, with clear communication and the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions. Safety remains the priority while ensuring operational efficiency and continuity across all stakeholders.

We are proud to be contributing to critical freight operations within one of Australia’s busiest port networks.
