Let’s talk… #Grain Sidings
Yesterday, we had the privilege of joining SELLAS Rail Services at short notice in Nullawil, Victoria, in the Mallee region, to support Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) with the replacement of critical grain handling infrastructure.
Why was this upgrade so important?
The distributor spout, also known as a transfer chute, provides the vital connection between the main silo and the surge bin. It enables grain to be transferred efficiently between storage points before being discharged through the loading spout into rail wagons for transport. Ensuring this equipment remains operational is essential to maintaining the grain supply chain.
We are grateful for the opportunity to assist with the access application process and to work alongside all parties involved in delivering a safe, efficient, and successful upgrade.
A great example of what can be achieved through collaboration, responsiveness, and a shared commitment to safety.
